The Olympic Qualification begins!

Hi All

Well it feels for me that the London Olympics was just a few weeks ago  and we are already trying to get to the Rio Olympics in 2016.  The qualification towards Rio works this way :  the best 14 scores in the next 2 years counts toward the Olympic Ranking and the top 55 athletes from that ranking will race in Copacabana in 2016, since I now race for Puerto Rico I do not have to go to an Olympic Trials race I just need to get myself high enough in the ranking and Ill get in.

My first race of these 14 was the PATCO Championships in Dallas, Texas where I placed 6th a good results to score some points and to really kick off the season.

My next two races are the Jiayuguan World Cup in China and the Tiszajuvaros World Cup in Hungary.

In Puerto Rico Ive been very active as well racing some of the local races like the Rincon Triathlon where I won for the 2nd year in a row, thanks to the new rocket Bike from Fuji, the Norcom Straight, Im very happy with this TT bike, its fast, cool looking and most important you can do several adjustments to fit into your right aero and most comfortable position. My bike is built with the best Gruppo in the market Shimano Dura Ace 11 speed, C75  full carbon wheels and Pro Shimano Aero Bars.

Im also doing a lot of road running races to keep my  level high, Ive won some of them and in some others Ive gotten into the podium. So far I already ran a personal best of 14:44 for a road 5km

Thanks to Ciclon my hydration and energy Sponsor for providing me with their best products to keep myself going during this hot and humid Puerto Rican summer without them I wouldn't been able to push through, day in and day out !!!!
